Getting paid
what you are already owed.

In every sport, part of the money is paid later and only if something happens: a bonus when an athlete reaches a number, a share when a team sells a player on, a cut of what a name earns from sponsors, a split of prize money. Those terms sit in signed documents, someone has to notice when the condition is met, the invoice goes out months later, and the shares are settled at the annual audit. The party owed the money carries the consequence, unable to say what is outstanding today and rebuilding the paperwork whenever a federation or a tax office asks.

LegacyNext writes those terms into the agreement itself, checks the condition against the official record, and settles everyone entitled to a share from the same execution, in the currency each of them wants. The same pattern sits under every sport, which is why the platform works wherever money is owed later, on a condition, to more than one party. The system is built and running, and conversations are underway with teams and rights owners in several sports.

What has actually changed.

Shared digital settlement is already normal in sport. Several international governing bodies operate central clearing for compensation and distribution flows, so routing rights payments through common digital infrastructure is accepted practice. That removes the first objection any board used to raise.

MiCA is in force across the EU. Tokenised rights structures now sit inside a defined regulatory perimeter, which lets counsel assess one on known ground instead of treating it as an experiment. The token here carries a record of an obligation and represents no financial claim on revenue.

Official competition and commercial data is reliable and licensable as a trigger. Appearances, minutes, results, rankings, race classifications, unit sales. The verification problem that killed earlier attempts is solvable in 2026.

What changes when one agreement
runs through the platform.

Today

  • Obligations live in PDF. Contingent clauses, bonus schedules and revenue splits sit in agreements scattered across email and shared drives.
  • Tracking is human. Someone watches what happens to athletes, teams and licensees elsewhere, and chases the invoice when a trigger fires.
  • Payments arrive late or disputed. Contingent amounts settle months after the event, sometimes contested, occasionally forgotten until counsel gets involved.
  • Receivables are invisible and splits wait. Finance cannot give the board a clean number for what is owed, and image, licensing and prize-money splits settle at the annual audit.

After

  • Obligations codified at signing. Percentages, thresholds, and distribution terms written into the smart contract at the moment the agreement is signed.
  • Triggers verified automatically. Licensed official data confirms the threshold, and the payment routes on its own once it is met.
  • Multi-party settlement in one step. Every counterparty to the event settles from the same execution: organisations, athletes, agents, coaches, federations, licensors.
  • Live contingent receivables. Finance sees exposure across every active obligation in real time.
  • Rights splits execute at receipt. Revenue arrives, the agreed splits execute against the registered agreement, and payment is released from that step.
  • Audit trail that holds. Every flow written to a blockchain with eIDAS timestamping, tamper-evident by construction, ready for governing-body and tax-authority reporting.

EU-compliant SaaS
for sports rights.

01
Agreement registration. Each agreement registered as a multi-file token: contract, side letters, annexes, and trigger definitions held together as one sealed record, timestamped at signature and readable by every party entitled to see it. Any later change is recorded against the original rather than replacing it.
02
Automated obligation execution. Smart contracts release payment when a verified trigger event occurs.
03
Verified data integration. Licensed official data confirms appearances, minutes, results, rankings, classifications, sales volumes, and contractual milestones.
04
EU regulatory compliance. KYC, AML and counter-terrorist-financing flows built in, eIDAS timestamping on every record, and a legal structure assessed against MiCA for each deployment.
05
Multi-currency settlement. Every party paid in the currency of their choice, converted automatically at execution.
06
Fully hosted SaaS. No infrastructure investment, no in-house blockchain expertise required.

The rights holders
we are built for.

Clubs, franchises, teams, leagues and competitionsBasketball, hockey, cricket, tennis, baseball, rugby, motorsport, football and emerging formats. Contingent obligations between organisations, and prize money, participation payments and central revenue distributed on defined conditions.
Athletes and their representationImage, name-and-likeness, and endorsement revenue split between athlete, team, agent, and management vehicle, settled at receipt rather than at year-end.
Investors holding minority stakes across sports assetsOne rights and settlement layer deployed across a portfolio, giving comparable reporting on assets in different sports and jurisdictions.
A finance or commercial lead who feels the painPersonally chases contingent invoices, personally signs off on receivables disclosures, personally answers to the board. The starting scope is one agreement run in parallel for ninety days, with no back-office migration.

We Operate Within
Your Boundaries.

Governing body systems
Central registration, matching, and clearing systems continue to operate under their own mandate. The platform works alongside them, on the bilateral and commercial obligations that sit outside that central infrastructure.
Your systems
Your existing management system and accounting stack stay in place. The platform integrates with what you already run, on a defined set of agreements, rather than asking the organisation to switch tooling.
Where we add value
The platform handles the manual chase, the late invoices, the forgotten triggers and the year-end reconciliation for agreements that flow through it. The rest of the operation continues unchanged.

Roadmap from here.

Now
MVP operational. Aligned with European regulation. Verification architecture defined. Active scoping conversations with rights holders across several sports.
Next
A first commercial deployment, with a published case study on completion.
2027
Reference deployments in several sports, and a first conversation with a league or federation about a closed-system rollout.
